Baseboards can be tricky to clean. They can get very dirty and dusty and may seem like an overwhelming task to take on. Try these simple tricks from Apartment Therapy. Their first suggestion is to simply use a Magic Eraser or other sponge and wipe them down using warm, soapy water. Check out their other ideas to find one that fits your specific needs
Pillows may be an item that aren’t cleaned regularly, but it’s a fairly simple process. Consumer Reports suggest cleaning them twice a year. Check out the above link to learn more about how to clean your pillows depending on the type of pillow you have.
Removing Hard Water Stains
Hard water stains can be a pain to get rid of. This article gives some practical tips and ideas on how to get rid of hard water on faucets. “Start by mixing half water and half vinegar in a spray bottle. Spray the mixture in your tub and shower [or on your faucets] and wait a few minutes before wiping clean.” They also suggest making a paste with baking soda and vinegar to get rid of hard water stains. Lemon juice is another powerful way to remove those stains.
